Warming up for the fiesta

Getting ready for the Bicentenario festivities later tonight and tomorrow, here's some of what went on in San Miguel de Allende as evening approached. The vendors were out selling helados, flags, toys, noisemakers, more flags and all kinds of street food. The little chicle-selling kids took a break. The locals watched as the gabachos danced. Then the locals danced. And then some fucking clown came over and put red, white and green greasepaint on my face while I was trying to shoot.

Some fucking clown.
