Getting ready for the Bicentenario festivities later tonight and tomorrow, here's some of what went on in San Miguel de Allende as evening approached. The vendors were out selling
helados, flags, toys, noisemakers, more flags and all kinds of street food. The little
chicle-selling kids took a break. The locals watched as the
gabachos danced. Then the locals danced. And then
some fucking clown came over and put red, white and green greasepaint on my face while I was trying to shoot.
