A bad day (shooting ) surfing is better than etc., etc., etc.
Maybe it didn't live up to its huge hype, but the first NW swell of the winter hit San Diego this week. Which means heading out to shoot some surfing. The following are from Sunset Cliffs.
Love the pics, especially the bird one. The shadows are really cool, I initially wondered what the hell was on the bird's chest until I (duh) realized it was a shadow.
I don't know what kind of tough little sea creature that gull was trying to eat, but it was having a hell of a time going at it (and failing) with its beak.
Beautiful shots David! Wasn't that big this morning, but still nice out there before the rain (now). call me! The photo of you in the snow brings back fun memories.
